Senior Litigation Legal Assistant
Our client, a prestigious law firm, is seeking a Senior Litigation Legal Assistant to support the management of a legal professional's practice.
You will play a key role in administrative support and secretarial duties, ensuring high-quality client service.
What is in it for you :
- Competitive salary : Between $70,000 and $78,000 per year.
- Permanent, full-time position : 35 hours per week.
- Flexible schedule : Monday through Friday, with possible work hours from 8 am to 4 pm, 8 : 30 am to 4 : 30 pm, or 9 am to 5 pm.
- Hybrid work : 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home. Wednesday is mandatory in the office with the freedom to choose the other two days of presence.

Responsibilities :
- Writing and editing documents : Correspondence, opinions, procedures, agreements, briefs, articles, and other documents.
- Administrative support : Management of filing, reminder systems, correspondence (emails and phone), travel preparations, meeting organization (including food orders), and client relations.
- Archiving : Management of active and inactive files, updating procedural binders, archiving files according to internal procedures.
- Other related tasks.
What you will need to succeed :
- University degree or relevant studies.
- 5 years of experience in legal translation from English to French.
- Proficiency in Microsoft tools (Outlook, OnePlace, PowerPoint) as well as Workshare.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a demanding environment.
- Excellent mastery of the French and English languages, both spoken and written, to converse with English-speaking and French-speaking clients.
