District Manager in Training – Job Posting

We are excited to offer the District Manager in Training program role supporting Atlantic stores .  The successful candidate will have the opportunity to further their understanding of the business through personal development and direct experience in a rotational based learning program lasting 6 -9 months. The program will be personalized and will include the following rotations :

  • Super.Market Store Operations
  • Financial planning
  • Leadership Development training
  • Super.Market Merchandising : Center of Store and Fresh
  • Supply Chain
  • PC Express
  • Data and Analytics
  • Leading and supporting retail projects
  • Managing a micro district with a banner
  • Mentorship with leaders in the business

Supporting experience :

Passion for food

  • An understanding of our core offerings, fresh products, assortment and local sourcing.
  • The ability to understand key seasonal trends and insights to drive profitability sales
  • Keep up to date on food trends, seasonal transitions with a focus on the diversity of cultures within the communities that we trade.
  • Business acumen

  • Retail experience in the food industry
  • Show and demonstrate capabilities and understanding of financial planning and budgeting
  • Driven to improve on processes and driven to find efficiencies
  • Entrepreneur minded with sales, profit and bottom-line focus
  • Results driven is a fact paced energetic environment
