Job Description
Our Federal Government client is seeking a Bilingual Records Management Clerk to join them on an on-site 11-month contract.
Tasks and Responsibilities (included but not limited to) :
- Provides general legal and administrative support services by performing general administrative tasks and updating and maintaining legal and administrative documents into the information management system and databases.
- Gathers, verifies, codes, enters, and compiles information and data using various procedures, manuals, automated systems, and databases.
- Processes and prepares various documents with information retrieved from database systems and ensures that the completed documents comply with the applicable rules.
- Ensuring the adherence to policies and strategies using records management systems.
- Verifying documents for accuracy.
- Gathering statistics and data to prepare routine reports.
- Maintaining access lists for security classified records.
- Compiling statistics on activities within records services.
- Assisting in the periodic review of files to ensure correct classification and completion.
- Labelling files according to retention and disposal schedules.
- Assisting in the preparation of files for disposal or retention.
- Reviewing files for legal opinions and populating closing review form.
Experience and Qualifications :
Must have a valid Secret security clearance.Must be Bilingual (English and French)Must have a minimum of 12 months relevant experienceMust have a Secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and relevant work experience.Apply today or refer a colleague.
