We are looking for a dynamic and collaborative individual who wants to make an impact on our organization and community in this upcoming vacancy as Arena Customer Care Representative (Student Contract), working within our Sport & Recreation team, from September – April 2027.
Working in a cross-functional and forward-thinking environment, and in support of the Town of Innisfil’s Strategic Plan 2030, and our core values of “Community First. Future Ready. Balance Always.”, you will be responsible for:
- Deliver value to the residents of the Town of Innisfil and assist in providing customer service to our arenas (Innisfil Recreational Complex, Stroud Innisfil Recreation Centre and Morgan Russell Memorial Arena & Community Centre).
- Interact directly with the public as the main point of contact.
- Collect money for drop-in programs, program registration and facility booking payments, and inquiries.
- Assist with administrative duties including electronic documentation of paper forms, money collection, facility bookings, and recreational registrations, and occasional light cleaning as required.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Job Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills. Previous experience working with the public is an asset.
- Experience with cash handling.
- Experience working in customer service.
- Good administration and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Excel, Word, and web applications.
- Experience in POS systems is an asset.
- At least 16 years of age.
- Valid Social Insurance Number (SIN).
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification is an asset.
- Ability to work varied shifts: Including daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays at a variety of locations throughout Innisfil. Schedules based on availability. Monday – Friday Daytime hours are also available.
Closing date is August 2, 2026.
The wage for this position is $17.95 per hour (Based on up to 24 hours per week).
