Job Title: General LabourerJob DescriptionWe are seeking motivated General Labourers to join our team for residential and commercial projects across the Fraser Valley. This role involves carrying materials, tearing off existing roofs, cleaning up debris, sweeping, passing shingles, and working on pitched roofs. We are willing to train individuals who demonstrate the right attitude and commitment.
Responsibilities
- Carry materials and assist in the preparation of job sites.
- Tear off existing roofs and clean up debris.
- Perform sweeping and passing of shingles on pitched roofs.
- Work safely at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools efficiently.
Essential Skills- 6+ months of outdoor construction labour experience.
- Comfortable working in all weather conditions including rain, heat, and snow.
- Ability to consistently lift 50 lbs.
- Experience working at heights.
- Possession of steel-toe boots and a personal vehicle.
- Good communication skills.
Additional Skills & Qualifications- Fall protection and first aid certifications are an asset.
- Reliability to work five days a week.

Work Environment
Our work environment consists of various commercial and residential projects primarily located in Chilliwack, Abbotsford, and Hope. Work typically consists of eight-hour days starting at 7 am, with potential adjustments for seasonal changes. Projects include commercial, single-family, and apartment buildings, and are carried out in most weather conditions, though work may be paused during severe snowfall or frost. We offer opportunities for long-term employment for those interested in roofing, with potential work in locations like Langley and Merritt, where a living out allowance (LOA) may be provided.
