Responsibilities
🔧 What You’ll Be Doing:
As a key leader on the shop floor, you’ll be responsible for driving safety, performance, and productivity during your shift. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

✅ 12 hour shifts - Continental (2 weeks on days, 2 weeks on nights)
✅ Ensuring full compliance with Health & Safety regulations and the Occupational Health & Safety Act
✅ Monitoring and achieving manufacturing metrics for your shift
✅ Managing and coaching shop floor teams to optimize performance
✅ Leading audits (SOP, Safety, 5S, Process) and driving continuous improvement
✅ Hosting regular team communications to keep everyone aligned and informed
✅ Tracking and supporting employee training and development on shift
✅ Taking swift action on any product, process, or quality system nonconformities
✅ Proactively identifying and resolving bottlenecks to keep production flowing smoothly
✅ Overseeing employee scheduling to ensure your shift is staffed with the right talent
✅ Collaborating with Gate House Attendants on absence coverage and shift needs

Qualifications
What You Need:
🧠 3+ years of experience with proven leadership experience in a manufacturing environment (automotive industry is a plus!)
🧠 Strong understanding of health and safety regulations
🧠 Confidence in problem-solving and quality assurance practices
🧠 Excellent communication and team engagement skills
🧠 Ability to make data-driven decisions and drive results on the floor
🧠 Lean manufacturing experience (Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen)
