Make an impact with our ease Cloud Accounting Services team as a Bookkeeper. Responsibilities

• Supporting 15+ clients across multiple industries with full cycle bookkeeping and payroll functions
• Adhere to tight deadlines by developing and maintatining relationships with clients and team members
• Enter and reconcile GL accounts including cash, bank reconciliations, prepaid expenses, sales, expenses, accounts receivable, accounts payable, accrued liabilities and intercompany accounts
• Identify issues and errors, investigate discrepancies, discuss with supervisor or engagement partner to develop resolutions
• Preparation and filing of GST and RST returns
• Prepare and maintain payroll and related government remittances/filings and Workers’ Compensation Board (WCB) transactions
• Communicate with governments regarding information requests, assessments and installments

Skills and Experience

• Certificate or diploma in business administration or accounting is considered an asset
• 3-5 years of full cycle bookkeeping experience
• Experience working with cloud accounting software is expected
• QBO Plus, QBO Advance, Xero and other application experience is considered an asset
• Working knowledge of basic accounting principles and processes
• Understanding of sales taxes (GST, PST, HST), payroll taxes and corporate tax
• Experience working with desktop bookkeeping software is beneficial
