OSSTF - EA Comp. 26-373 Closing date: 2026-08-13 @ 4:00 pm EST 1.0 Educational Assistant - Temporary Location: W. Earle Miller Public School Start date: August 31, 2026 (temporary position until December 18, 2026 or return of absent employee) Vacancy Details: 1.0 FTE - full-time, 32.5 hours/week This posting is for an existing vacancy. Position Summary: Educational Assistants provide classroom support to students based on their individual academic, social, emotional, behavioural, and physical needs. This includes supporting students to access the curriculum and meet their full potential in both integrated and high support settings. Qualifications: Post-secondary education in Educational Assistant, Early Childhood Education, Developmental Services Worker, or related field, and/or equivalent. Demonstrated experience working with students with special education needs of varying ages, preferably in a school setting. Compensation: Salary in accordance with the current OSSTF-EA collective agreement $25.76 per hour - $30.55 per hour (plus vacation pay) Interested Candidates: Postings can be found on the DSB1 website at and on Apply to Education at Please apply using Apply to Education by clicking the Apply button.
