• Reading and interpreting technical blueprints to identify required materials and welding methods.
• Preparing and using MIG and TIG welding equipment to assemble metal parts.
• Inspecting welds for quality and compliance with specifications.
• Performing basic maintenance on welding equipment.
• Cutting and shaping metal using tools such as plasma cutters, grinders, or torches.

• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Conducting strength and performance tests on completed welds.

Job requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing welding.
• Proficiency in MIG, TIG, and arc welding processes.
• Ability to read technical drawings and documents.
• Knowledge of safety standards and PPE.
• Welding certifications (CWB, AWS, ASME) are an asset.
