Position Overview
Reporting to the Manager of Environmental Services and under the direction of the Support Services Supervisor, the Linen Services Aide performs a variety of duties relative to the provision of laundry/linen services at the Riverview Health Centre.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a similar position.
Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)
- Grade X, Manitoba Standards, or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
Certification/Licensure/Registration

Qualifications and Skills
- Knowledge of relevant Workplace Safety and Health responsibilities.
- Ability to express ideas and thoughts in English both verbally and in written format.
- Ability to select appropriate communication methods pertinent to the situation.
- Computer skills including accessing the Intranet, sending/receiving emails and working knowledge of computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to listen and comprehend effectively.
- Ability to organize workload and set priorities.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and in a team environment as required.
- Ability to provide good customer service as required.
