In our kitchens, we focus on fresh and simple ingredients. And we always have. Since the beginning, we've served chicken that is whole breast meat, and we bread it by hand in our restaurants. Produce is delivered fresh to our kitchens several times a week. Salads are chopped and prepared fresh throughout the day.

Position Overview

We are currently hiring a Back of House (BOH) Team Member to join our kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food with efficiency and care, maintaining food safety standards, and contributing to a clean, well-organized kitchen environment. BOH Team Members are essential to delivering the quality and excellence our guests expect. This role reports to the BOH Team Leader or Shift Supervisor on duty.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and package hot, cold, and raw food items with efficiency and attention to detail
• Follow all food safety and kitchen cleanliness procedures, including Chick-fil-A’s procedures and sanitation protocols
• Ensure proper handling, storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients
• Use kitchen equipment safely and report any concerns or maintenance needs promptly
• Support daily opening and closing procedures according to Chick-fil-A guidelines
• Communicate effectively with team members and leaders to ensure smooth kitchen operations
• Support fellow BOH team members during busy periods
• Manage personal availability and scheduling, and arrive prepared and on time for each shift
• Foster a positive work environment by promoting the Chick-fil-A Heartland core values of “Here to Serve”, Ownership, Care, and Trust

Note: Team member responsibilities are not limited to the ones listed above and from time to time may be required to perform additional duties to support business demands.

Work Hours

• Operating Hours: 9:00 am – 11:00 pm, Monday to Saturday
• Closed Sundays
