HireArt is partnering with a leading technology company to advance the future of autonomous vehicle development. We are seeking Vehicle Operators - Data Collection to play a critical role in testing, collecting data, and refining cutting-edge driving technology.

As part of this program, you will operate test vehicles in real-world conditions, gathering crucial data that directly impacts innovation. If you are highly observant, safety-conscious, and eager to contribute to the next generation of mobility, this role is for you. Join a fast-paced, dynamic team that values precision, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Available Shifts:
7:00 AM – 2:30 PM: Wed-Sun | Thur-Mon | Fri-Tue
2:30 PM – 10:30 PM: Fri-Tue | Sat-Wed | Sun-Thur | Wed-Sun | Thur-Mon

What You’ll Do:
  • Drive test vehicles for 4–8 hours daily on predefined routes, ensuring strict adherence to safety protocols.
  • Perform routine vehicle inspections to confirm roadworthiness and address any maintenance needs.
  • Conduct basic software operations to support real-time data collection.
  • Accurately document observations, issues, and anomalies encountered during test runs.
  • Collaborate with engineers, providing valuable feedback to enhance system performance.
  • Assist with vehicle logistics, maintenance coordination, and storage.

Requirements

  • Professional driving experience (Uber, Lyft, DoorDash, etc., OK)
  • Basic vehicle knowledge with a clean driving record
  • Comfortable driving for extended periods (4–8 hours per day)
  • No moving violations within the past 12 months, DUIs, or criminal record
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and strict safety guidelines
  • Ability to work onsite in both Sunnyvale and San Francisco.

Commitment: This is a full-time, ongoing contract position staffed via HireArt. It will be open to candidates local to the Bay Area and able to work onsite in Sunnyvale, CA.
