POSITION sUMMARY
The Women’s Basketball Head Coach is responsible for preparing St. Lawrence College student-athletes for successful competition within the Ontario Colleges Athletics Association (OCAA), and the Canadian Collegiate Athletics Association (CCAA). This position reports to the Manager of Athletics & Student Engagement and receives guidance from the Athletics & Student Engagement Coordinators and Engagement Content Creator. The Head Coach will work alongside regional coaches that assist in the implementation of program plans at each campus.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
A minimum of a Valid Advanced Development Coach (ADV) or National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) Certification (or working towards).
A minimum of 4 years coaching experience at a competitive level (high school, club and/or College/University levels). Current certification in First Aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
