We can start you in an entry level role where we provide all the training you need to succeed. We’re looking for a General Production Employee to join our innovative lumber mill located near Vernon, British Columbia. Our Lavington Division is where Tolko’s story began over years ago. Today, at Lavington, we safely and sustainably produce million board feet of lumber per year for customers around the world so they can build their homes and their communities.Our ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• Demonstrated commitment to working safely.
• Strong communication & interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work 8-hour shifts, including evenings and graveyards.
• Ability to work independently with little supervision.
• Previousexperience working in an industrial environmentis an asset.
• Previous experienceoperating a forklift or loaderis an asset.

• Work independentlyas part of ahigh-performance teamdedicated safely and efficiently producing lumber products.
• Perform a variety of labour dutiesto increase productivity and reduce safety risks.
• Identify,analyze and troubleshootany problems that might arise in your area.
• Work with your Team Lead and Maintenance teams to make sure everything stays on track.
• Work arotating 8-hour shift schedule, which gives you flexibility to spend extra time with your family on days off.
