Job description

Ready for a challenge?

Whether it's a Friday-night feast, a post-gym poke bowl, or grabbing some groceries, our tech platform connects millions of customers with tens of thousands of restaurant, grocery and convenience partners across Canada.

About this role:

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Product Manager to make a significant contribution within our Partner and Operations space in the Skip Product suite. You will be a key driver in empowering our partners to achieve their business goals through innovative technology and product strategies. You will also be responsible for the strategic development of a subset of our operational tools and capabilities. Our Product and Technology teams are building impactful solutions that pave the way for automation and enhance the efficiency of our Partner support teams.

Location: Hybrid — 3 days a week from our Winnipeg, Calgary or Toronto office & 2 days working from home

Reporting to: Group Product Manager

These are some of the key ingredients to the role:

  • Applied system thinking, a successful candidate will demonstrate their ability to navigate complex systems.

  • A strong sense of user empathy combined with strategic thinking, you understand how to deliver globally scalable solutions — including self-serve partner experiences — that feel local and relevant.

  • Demonstration of initiative, ownership & accountability to your roadmap and product domain.

  • Proactive collaboration and communication across different product managers, stakeholder groups and development squads.

  • An ability to work independently, identify innovative, impactful product opportunities with minimal guidance — including opportunities to embed AI into partner-facing and operational experiences.

  • Adaptable to shifting priorities or unforeseen challenges.

What will you bring to the table?

  • Previous experience in Product Management roles and understanding of concepts from product discovery, delivery and execution, to tracking success. Experience building operational tools is an asset.

  • Strong analytical skills with a data driven approach to problem solving, drawing data from various sources within and outside the company. Experience with SQL and data analysis is an asset

  • Excellent interpersonal, prioritization, and stakeholder management abilities.

  • Experience working with UX research and product analysts to inform your roadmap

  • Experience building end-user product or features, and following up by post-release monitoring and regularly communicating results to stakeholders.

  • Ability to communicate trade-offs and priorities to stakeholders, manage expectations.

  • Prioritization and backlog management, building the right artifacts to communicate and plan your roadmap.

  • Familiarity with AI-powered product experiences — whether embedding AI into self-serve tools, automating partner workflows, or leveraging AI to improve how internal teams support partners — is a strong asset.

  • Engineering background is an asset.
