The Role:
As a Helper 2, you will be a key part of our production team, helping Advanced Bending Technologies deliver high-quality products safely, on time, and to our customers’ exact specifications. Your support keeps our operations running smoothly and ensures every project meets our standards for accuracy and reliability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and follow work orders to complete tasks accurately
- Handle materials: move, measure, inspect, label, and package raw and finished products
- Support production: assist with bending, grooving, cutting, washing, sand filling, and other shop duties after setup
- Maintain workstations and shop: keep machines and work areas clean and organized
- Assist with shipping and receiving as needed
- Follow safety and quality standards: work according to our safety management and quality systems
- Complete required documentation and quality records
What You Bring:
- Highschool diploma or GED equivalent
- Basic understanding of steel trades and shop procedures
- Experience handling materials in a shop or warehouse setting
- Must have basic math skills and be able to accurately read a tape measure
- Strong communication, organization, and multitasking skills
- Self-motivated and able to work well with others
- Eager to help the team and company grow, improve efficiency, and deliver great service
