  • Verify and receive materials against purchase orders in the ERP system, ensuring correct quantities and part numbers.
  • Use reel counters and scales to accurately count inventory, particularly for electronic components.
  • Use appropriate packaging and handling methods to protect materials from damage, including electrostatic discharge prevention and protection of moisture-sensitive parts.
  • Store and organize parts according to material handling guidance such as FIFO (First In, First Out), locator organization, and weight considerations.
  • Enter cycle counts into the ERP system and ensure that inventory records reflect accurate quantities.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing system records to physical counts of stock, investigating discrepancies, and adjusting errors as needed.
  • Verify, reconcile, and transact materials returned from manufacturing to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Process inventory adjustments in the ERP system while following the established approval hierarchy.
  • Handle parts in accordance with part specifications and follow detailed instructions for orientation of parts in trays and tape-and-reel packaging.
  • Select the correct pocket and tape for tape-and-reel packaging to ensure proper fit and protection of components.
  • Maintain safety standards and support 5S workplace organization practices, keeping work areas clean, orderly, and efficient.
  • Use RF scanners and related equipment to support shipping, receiving, order picking, and warehouse inventory activities.
  • Support general production, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, picking, packing, and packaging activities as needed.
  • Collaborate closely with team members, communicate effectively, and contribute to a positive, head-down teamwork culture.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned to support overall warehouse and manufacturing operations.

Essential Skills

  • Ability to work flexible schedules and overtime when required.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent education.
  • Willingness to use electrostatic-safe steel-toe footwear.
  • Comfort working with RF scanners and related warehouse technology.
