Position: Electronic Testing TechnicianLocation: Saint-LaurentSalary: $55K to $60K + full benefits + discretionary bonusJob Type: Full-time, in-office with flexible hoursAn international leader in lighting solutions is seeking an Electronic Testing Technician to join their growing team! This full-time, permanent role offers a friendly and collaborative work environment, excellent benefits, and a flexible schedule.As an Electronic Testing Technician, you will be responsible for testing, inspecting, and validating electronic components and prototypes to ensure top-quality performance and compliance with company standards. You'll play an active role in supporting engineers with prototype assembly, testing, and documentation for new product development.Main Responsibilities:- Organize and maintain the laboratory space, including setup and storage of electronic prototypes and measuring instruments.- Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical/electronic schematics, and circuit diagrams.- Assemble and wire electronic prototypes and test benches with support from engineers.- Perform functionality and performance testing on various electronic systems and components.- Conduct detailed inspections, identify issues, and document results.- Record test findings, design details, and specifications for project files.- Participate in quality control procedures and contribute to product validation.- Support commissioning and performance evaluations as needed.- Carry out any additional related tasks assigned by the engineering team.The Ideal Candidate:- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Hands-on experience with testing instruments, lab procedures, and data recording- Meticulous attention to detail and an eagerness to support new product innovationTo apply, please send your resume as a Word document to Hannah Tiongson at: hannah.tiongson@quantum.ca.REFER A PERM HIRE AND EARN UP TO $1,000!
