Order Entry and Inventory Specialist

You are a specialist in supply chain logistics and inventory management and are seeking to join a dynamic team

RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS :

Review inventory levels on hand, at warehouse and at customer DCs and stores, in conjunction with sales forecasts, to determine purchasing needs

Prepare and send order inquiries to factories for placement of orders

Arrange inspection for production of finished goods

Confirm shipping dates with factory and arrange vessel sailing dates

Work with customer’s logistics team to consolidate shipments from factory

Correspond with local freight company for delivery of domestic orders

REQUIREMENTS AND SKILLS

University degree or college diploma or equivalent work experience

3-5 years of experience in a similar role

Advanced computer skills are required including experience working with databases and web-based retail vendor portals

Excellent communication skills for dealing with suppliers, transportation and key customer contacts

Experience in demand planning and forecasting, monitoring inventory levels, submitting purchase orders to suppliers, coordinating overseas and local delivery transportation
