About this roleWe are recruiting for an energetic, business savvy, and driven Project Manager/Estimator, Service Projects to join our Service division in our Burnaby office. Here's how your role will strengthen our team. Your responsibilitiesWork with clients and identify potential business opportunitiesEstimate projects and submit tendersReview contracts for onerous clauses and conditionsMaintain good relationships with suppliers, consultants, general contractors and end usersManage project financials (including billing), purchasing, schedules and labourMitigate project risk, deficiencies and estimate changes as neededWork with internal stakeholders, field staff and customers, to ensure projects remain on track, on budget and meet expectationsBe present on jobsites when required and review project upon completion to discuss success and challengesReview the project at completion with the foreman and superintendent to discuss successes and challengesYour experience and skillsElectrical trade certificate, Electrical Engineering degree or Electrical Technologist diploma/certificate2 years' experience in Electrical Project Management and/or EstimatingExperience estimating projects and/or change ordersExperience in electrical service (commercial projects) preferredFSR B, an assetPrevious experience with estimating programs, specifically Accubid, an assetProven ability to build strong relationshipsStrong attention to detail and good organizational skillsStrong communication and team working skillsGood computer skills including MS Office, Procore, Teams, etc.About HouleAs BC's leading electrical contractor and systems integrator, we believe in delivering safe, reliable power for the future.
