Job Description : Endpoint Specialist / Support

Position Title : Endpoint Specialist / Support

Department : Information Technology

Role Summary :

The Endpoint Specialist will be responsible for managing, securing, and optimizing the organization’s endpoint devices, including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices. This role ensures that all endpoint-related technologies and processes meet operational, security, and compliance standards.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Endpoint Management : Administer and optimize Microsoft Intune for device enrollment, configuration, and lifecycle management.
  • Desktop Imaging : Develop, maintain, and deploy desktop images across the organization.
  • Security Remediation : Address vulnerabilities identified through Qualys scans and implement desktop hardening standards.
  • Policy Compliance : Ensure compliance with organizational and industry standards for endpoint security and management.
  • Software Deployment : Manage and deploy software updates, patches, PS Scripts and configurations.
  • Inventory Control : Maintain an accurate inventory of endpoint devices, ensuring timely updates and replacements.
  • Troubleshooting : Provide advanced support for endpoint-related issues escalated from the Service Desk.
  • Collaboration : Work with IT security and infrastructure teams to align endpoint management practices with overall IT strategy.
  • Reporting : Generate reports on endpoint health, compliance, and performance metrics.
  • Training and Documentation : Create user guides and train Service Desk staff on endpoint-related processes and tools.
  • OnCall : Participate in a rotation for OnCall
  • Change Management : Participate and adhere to Change Management processes
  • Create documentation : Create technical documents, knowledge articles, and standard operating procedures related to Intune.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of experience in endpoint management or similar roles.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Intune and other endpoint management tools.
  • Experience with vulnerability remediation tools such as Qualys.
  • Experience using Powershell
  • Strong understanding of desktop imaging and hardening techniques.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, macOS) and mobile device management.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Certifications such as Microsoft Certified : Modern Desktop Administrator Associate or similar are a plus.
  • This is a hybrid work environment with minimum of 3 days in the office.
