On behalf of our client, we are looking for a dynamic incoming Quality Inspector for their location in Concord. This will be for a Day shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Handle inbound trucks, offloading
- Processing purchase order receipts, incoming quality receiving reports, discrepancy reports
- Labeling product and putting away in location
- Help manage MRB flow in conjunction with Purchasing and Shipping (ensure product moves in a timely manner)
- Administrative and clerical tasks as required
- Act as back up to shipper when required
- Follow all clean-up and housekeeping procedures. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and regulations.
- Work with other company personnel to resolve inspection questions.
- Perform first article inspections to support the component qualification process.
- Read and interpret specifications and part prints. Ensure calibration and maintenance is performed on inspection equipment.
- Perform material kit audits to insure accuracy and integrity of the kitting process.
- Perform product identification and traceability activities, as required.
- Monthly HQ Quality Report to Director of Quality
- Any other reasonable task asked of you by your Manager / Supervisor (ie annual inventory) Key attributes :
- Ability to function independently; detail orientated, organized and must work well as a team player
- Must have experience with gages, calipers, micrometers and other various measurement tools and their functions
- Works well under pressure, able to multi-task
- Reliable time keeper
- Ability to work varied hours if needed
- Ability to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
Skills and Education :
Min. High School Diploma, College or QA certification courses are considered an asset.Previous Experience working in a warehouse environment preferred.A Full, clean Driving License and tow motor license is preferredOutlook, Excel and Word required.Must have experience with with gauges, micrometers, calipers and other various measurement tools is required
