Role Description
Based in Toronto or Vancouver, the Manager, Sustainability for Parkbridge will report to QuadReal’s Director, Sustainability, and will collaborate closely with the QuadReal Sustainability team.
The Manager will be responsible for implementing the sustainability programs across Parkbridge properties, including providing training and support to property teams, and managing any internal or external reporting requirements.
This individual will require strong attention to detail, the ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with various stakeholders, and be able to manage time in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Implement sustainability programs across Parkbridge properties including :
- Standard Operating Procedures : Work with property teams to execute the requirements outlined in the Sustainability SOPs
- Certifications : Oversee certification programs and support properties with answering questions in the annual survey process
- Waste : Coordinate waste reduction efforts and pilot projects with property teams
- Accessibility : Collaborate with QuadReal’s Manager, Wellness & Healthy Buildings to identify and implement accessibility initiatives at Parkbridge properties
- Climate Risk : Oversee and support with the climate risk and resilience assessment process for all Parkbridge properties and new acquisitions
- Development : Collaborate with the Parkbridge Development Team to implement internal Sustainability Playbook and Checklist on all development projects
- Carbon, Energy, Water : Collaborate with QuadReal’s Sustainability team to develop targets, strategies, and implementation plans related to carbon, energy and water to align commitments in these areas
Identify, create and facilitate training to property teams to support with the implementation of sustainability programs, as required.
Support property teams with sustainability communication to residents.
Participate in industry committees and working groups, and liaise with BOMA Canada and other certification bodies, as required.
Experience and Qualifications
- Degree or diploma at a University or College in sustainability, environmental science, engineering, business, or a related field
- Willing to learn and adapt to changes in a dynamic environment
- Ability to allocate time effectively, manage multiple demands and competing priorities under pressure, and resolve daily issues in a timely manner
- Proven ability to communicate effectively and clearly both verbally and written
- Organized, detail-oriented and a self-starter
- Able to resolve problems using facts and sound reasoning and achieve goals with a strategic approach.
- Proven innovation with a willingness to manage and adapt to change
- Ability to develop and sustain cooperative working relationships
