Be a key member of a purpose-driven team shaping the future of senior living in Canada. Lead clinical strategy, compliance, and care innovation for a values-led, hospitality-driven organization. Inspire excellence in service, safety, and wellness across our V!VA Communities.

At V!VA, we believe in making every day great—for our Community Members, Team Members, and partners. If you’re a collaborative, ethical, and strategic healthcare leader with a passion for seniors housing and person-centered care, we want to hear from you.

About V!VA Retirement Communities

V!VA Retirement Communities is a leader in Canada’s seniors housing sector, redefining retirement living through hospitality-inspired design, personalized service, and a strong culture grounded in respect, passion, and integrity.

With V!VA Communities across Ontario and more on the way—including a flagship community opening in Leaside, Toronto, in 2026—we are a growing company that combines operational excellence with a genuine commitment to Making Today Great for our Community Members and Team Members alike.

Opportunity Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Regional Wellness Manager to join our Community Experience Team. This critical role provides leadership, coaching, and oversight to Wellness Managers across multiple V!VA Communities, ensuring that V!VA’s care models are delivered with excellence, compassion, and compliance.

The Regional Wellness Manager will play a hands-on role in guiding clinical operations, supporting team development, and driving innovation in wellness programming and service delivery. This is an exciting opportunity for a senior healthcare leader with expertise in retirement living, long-term care, or community health to join a values-led organization during a time of growth and transformation.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Wellness Leadership

  • Provide expert guidance to Wellness Managers and Community Directors on care delivery, assessments, and risk management.
  • Ensure compliance with RHRA, IPAC, CNO, and public health standards across all communities.
  • Lead audits, incident reviews, and performance improvement initiatives.
  • Champion V!VA’s branded wellness programs, including V!VAfit and CHIP services.
  • Support new V!VA Community openings and contribute to the development of care models and staffing plans.

Team Coaching & Development

  • Mentor and coach Wellness Managers and Leads to foster high-performing, empowered teams.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Wellness leaders.
  • Promote a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and service excellence.
  • Lead cross-community initiatives and represent V!VA in complex stakeholder interactions.

Operational Oversight & Planning

  • Analyze clinical data and trends to improve care quality and outcomes.
  • Collaborate on business planning, budgeting, and service pricing strategies.
  • Manage relationships with pharmacies and third-party care providers.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical software platforms and documentation standards.

Qualifications

  • RN or RPN designation with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
  • Minimum 5 years as a Director of Care/Wellness Manager in retirement living.
  • Minimum 3 years in regional/multi-site leadership.
  • Strong clinical judgment, coaching skills, and knowledge of regulatory standards.
  • Proficient in MS Office and clinical documentation platforms.
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle (travel required across the GTHA and Ottawa).

Working Conditions

  • Hybrid schedule: 3 days on-site at V!VA’s Home Office in North York, and 2 days remote.
  • Regular travel to V!VA Communities across Ontario.
  • Occasional extended hours during audits, incident reviews, and special projects.

Why Join V!VA

At V!VA, you will make a meaningful impact while working in a collaborative, values-driven environment. You’ll join a leadership team that supports innovation, empowers its people, and believes in delivering exceptional experiences to our residents and partners.

As we expand our portfolio, this is your opportunity to help shape the future of wellness in retirement living in Ontario.
