A fast-growing real estate and mortgage team in the GTA is hiring a Virtual Social Media & Marketing Assistant to help turn listings, market insights, and client stories into engaging, lead-generating content.
- Title : Virtual Social Media & Marketing Assistant
- Focus : Content creation, brand building, and basic lead nurturing for a top-producing GTA real estate and mortgage team.
- Platforms : Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn (with room to test others as we scale).
- Style : Clean, modern, educational, community-focused content that reflects a professional yet approachable brand.
- Payment is in CAD ($5 CAD / Hour) and will start with part-time status of 20 hours per week.
- Plan, schedule, and manage a monthly content calendar featuring listings, client success stories, mortgage tips, and GTA market insights.
- Create short-form videos and reels (hooks, basic scripts, captions) that feel native to each platform and showcase properties, educational content, and the teams personality.
- Design on-brand graphics (posts, carousels, stories, thumbnails) using tools like Canva, Photoshop, or similar.
- Repurpose existing content into bite-sized clips, quote graphics, and educational posts to maximize reach and consistency.
- Engage with the audience by replying to comments and DMs, and help nurture online leads in alignment with the teams voice and guidelines.
- Stay on top of social and GTA real estate trends and suggest new content ideas, series, and campaigns that position the team as trusted local experts.
- Have proven experience in social media management and content creation (portfolio required; experience with real estate or service-based local businesses is a strong asset).
- Confident with video editing tools (CapCut, Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, etc.) and comfortable creating vertical short-form content with strong hooks and clean edits.
- Comfortable with graphic design tools (especially Canva) and able to follow and refine an existing visual style.
- Understand or are eager to learn the GTA real estate and mortgage space, including neighbourhoods, lifestyle, and market conversations.
- Strong written English; can write friendly, clear, and persuasive copy that feels human and relatable.
- Organized, proactive, and able to work independently with deadlines, while staying aligned with the teams vision and goals.
