Warehouse Distribution Supervisor
Location : Brantford, Ontario
The Warehouse Distribution Supervisor is responsible for leading the inventory control and warehouse teams at a small distribution branch, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and accuracy in all aspects. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and mentor team members, fostering a culture where everyone is valued and contributes to the branch’s success. You will coordinate workflows, set schedules, and ensure products are available when customers need them.
Job type : Permanent, full-time
Schedule : M-F onsite, 8am – 5pm
Compensation : Warehouse Distribution Supervisor
- Salary range of $70k - $75K with up to 10% bonus
- RRSP match of 4%
- 2-3 weeks of paid vacation
Key Responsibilities : Warehouse Distribution Supervisor
Lead / supervise warehouse and inventory staff to ensure efficient daily operations and team productivityOversee the receipt, storage, handling, and redistribution of containers and products with accuracyOperate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently to manage inventoryMaintain precise inventory records, shipment documentation, and tracking systemsEnsure strict compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and regulatory standardsCollaborate cross-functionally with departments to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiencyAddress customer inquiries and concerns promptly, delivering high levels of service and satisfactionTrain, mentor, and develop warehouse employees to foster growth, improve performance, and build team capabilityIdentify and implement process improvements to boost accuracy, reduce costs, and optimize warehouse operationsPerform additional duties as required to support branch goals and successQualifications : Warehouse Distribution Supervisor
College degree in business, supply chain, logistics, or a related field; or equivalent 10 years of related experience.Minimum of 4 years’ supervisory experience in distribution, warehouse operations, or inventory management.Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills.Proven ability to manage schedules, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control software.Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.Commitment to workplace safety and continuous improvement.Apply resume to For immediate consideration call or text Cheryl at 905 361-3987 ext 107
