In this role, you will be accountable for the building and plant troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance of the CIVA compounding Facility.

What you'll be doing
Routine Maintenance Calibration & Repair
Coordinate & supervise preventative maintenance, calibration and repairs with external contractors. Includes :
HVAC
Utility and generator.
Production Support Equipment.
Temperature controlled equipment (incubators, freezers, refrigerators)
Compounding equipment (scales, inspection stations, torque tools, repeater pumps)
Building & Facilities.
Review and compile documentation of repair, calibration maintenance activity in compliance with good documentation practices. Examples :
Calibration records
Contractor service reports
Logbooks
Critical Work order
Facility Support
Maintain all facility related function to ensure facility is fit for purpose and functional. Duty includes :
Attend and rectify building and facility related issues and requests.
Source and procure items & services associated with facility maintenance and repair.
Manage routine building maintenance and Pest Control.
Reliability Engineering
Support reliability engineering activities for critical equipment and Services. Duty Includes.
Maintain Master Asset list.
Maintain critical spare parts inventory.
Investigate equipment / facility failures and implement preventive actions.
Maintain and safe and compliant facility. Duty includes :
Ensure facility is maintained as per local and Baxter EHS policies.
Ensure all contracted works are appropriately risk assessed and contractors have the required qualification.
Provide solutions to minimize / eliminate plant hazards.
Plant Support
Provide troubleshooting support for Facility and Building services. Duty includes :
Provide out-of-hours support for critical facilities issues.
Support plant engineer for troubleshooting and repair as required.
Lead Plant Engineering function in absence of plant engineer.
Provide technical support for project work and continuous improvement initiatives as required.
Provide other plant and building related support as directed.
What you'll bring
Electrical / controls / Mechanical Diploma or appropriate trade / engineering qualification
Minimum 3 years working experience in a plant environment as a technician
Pharmaceutical manufacturing experience.
Hands on experience of Electrical / Mechanical troubleshooting and repair.
Good documentation practice and managing service logs, documenting maintenance and repair works.
Position is hands-on, therefore successful candidate will be competent in troubleshooting and repair of equipment.
Collaboration, communication & computer literacy.
Occasional weekend or out of hours work is required to meet plant demand.
Critical thinking & problem solving
Nice to have
Electrical / Controls trade License.
Experience of managing various trades within a plant / facility.
Contractor Management.
PLC Programming / automation controls experience.
