Business Education Teacher (Gr. 9 – 12), 100% TermBulletin Number:036-TE-26Date Posted:May 1, 2026School:Garden Valley CollegiatePOSITION DESCRIPTION:Garden Valley School Division invites applications for the full-time (1.0 FTE) term position of Business Education Teacher at Garden Valley Collegiate effective September 8, 2026 – June 30, 2027.Garden Valley School Division is a dynamic and thriving educational community located in the heartland of Manitoba's beautiful Pembina Valley Region. With a student population of about 4,300, the division encompasses 14 schools in the communities of Winkler, Plum Coulee, Schanzenfeld, Hochfeld, Blumenfeld, Reinland, and Blumengart.Garden Valley School Division is committed to excellence in education, fostering a culture of trust and belonging among students and staff. The division offers a variety of programs in academics, fine arts, athletics, and technology, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to reach their full potential. REQUIRED AND/OR PREFERED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:Hold or be eligible to hold a valid Manitoba Teaching CertificateA strong background in business education is considered an asset. Courses such as Business Management, Accounting, Venture Development among others will be the responsibility of the successful applicant.The ability to work alongside teachers, colleagues and contribute collaboratively as a team member is essential.Satisfactory Criminal Record Check & Child Abuse Registry Check The above represents general core qualifications for the position and may vary as necessary to the operations of the school/program. SCHOOL INFORMATION:Garden Valley Collegiate is a grades 9-12 high school that is located on Main Street in the city of Winkler. We have an estimated student population of 650, a teaching staff of almost 50 and a support staff of 25.
