Flooring Sales Associate

Requirements :

• Exceptional customer service skills with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales / design / new homes / renovations market at a retail setting
• Valid class 5 driver’s licence
• Experience in residential / commercial flooring sales / installs and knowledge of flooring products; an asset
• Building construction experience / knowledge; an asset
• Post-secondary education in a relevant area (business, sales, design); an asset
• Ability to travel & work rotating weekend shifts
• Excellent with computers including MS office with ability to learn new software
• Basic understanding of blueprints and mathematical skills
• Reliable, energetic, outgoing individual with initiative and drive
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
• Ability to work in a collaborative setting
• Adaptable to change and committed to continuous training and development
• Requires full range of body motion including standing, twisting, bending, reaching, squatting and ability to use hands, arms and legs to physically lift and move items including 50-75lbs
