Job description
At Amazon Payment Products (APP), we delight our customers with rewards, credit and the simplicity to buy across borders. Amazon Payment Products serves tens of millions of customers worldwide through a global portfolio of products, delighting them with best-in-class rewards, easy access to credit as well as the simplicity to sell or buy cross-border on Amazon in their local currency. The global portfolio of products APP currently negotiates, builds, and manages includes Co-brand Credit Cards, Private Label Credit Cards, Shop with Points, Installments (Buy Now, Pay Later), and Amazon Currency Converter for Sellers and Buyers. Key job responsibilities
As a member of the APP team, you will invent new features, and develop delightful user experiences. We are a fast-paced environment, using agile methodology and lightweight Service Oriented Architecture design patterns leveraged by Native AWS applications. We encourage innovation and expect developers to take a high level of ownership throughout the software life cycle.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
- 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
- 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
