Lake Country Co-op invites applications for the position of part-time Food Services Cook/Clerk (15-24 hours/week) (2 positions) at our TJ’s/ Chester-Fried Chicken in our C-Store/Gas Bar location in Spiritwood, Saskatchewan.

Reporting to the TJ’s/ Chester’s Team Leader, responsibilities for this position include the following:
• Demonstrate the day-to-day behaviors and actions that align with and strengthen Lake Country Co-operative’s vision, mission, and safety principles to make a difference in members lives, with a strong customer-focused approach.
• Provide Legendary Service at all touch points through various communication channels.
• Demonstrate a complete understanding of menu items and explain accurately to guests.
• Prepare food neatly and according to standard recipes, package takeout orders, and ensure timely service.
• Follow proper food handling, safety, and sanitation standards throughout food preparation, service, and cleanup.
• Check and monitor product in food preparation area and restock items to ensure a sufficient supply throughout shift.
• Use the Point of Sale (POS) system to enter orders, calculate bills, and provide change.
• Operate manual and electric appliances, as well as other food preparation tools and equipment.
• Support and follow Asset Protection and Safety Management systems, policies, and procedures.
• Perform light paperwork duties, as assigned.
• Perform all other duties, as assigned.

• Honest, trustworthy, results-oriented, and strive to be the best in the work that you do.
• Well organized and capable of attaining a high level of production, with a minimum amount of supervision.
• Experience with food preparation and food safety, or you are willing to learn.
• Ability to fulfill the physical job requirement including standing for entire shirt and lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, guest-facing environment.
• Flexible work schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
