In this position you will:

• Greet & welcome guests with hospitality. Sometimes you will be the first person they see to start their day!

• Follow Tim Hortons standards and guidelines when preparing products for our guests as well as follow all operating guidelines for each piece of equipment

• Communicate the potential problems to the manager on duty and other team members as necessary

• Perform all other responsibilities as directed by the business or as assigned by management

Essential Functions

• Follow recipes and/or product directions for preparing, cooking, and serving food items.

• Follow menus, estimate food requirements, check production and keep records in order to accurately plan production requirements and requisition supplies and equipment as needed

• Clean and sanitize work stations and equipment

• Practices excellent food safety and sanitation practices.

• Operates a variety of kitchen equipment.

• Stocks, dates, rotates, and checks temperature of product

Physical Demands:

• Walking and standing for long periods of time

• Is able to lift and carry up to 20 kg / 45 lbs

• Operate large and heavy equipment

• Receive large deliveries up to twice weekly

• Transition between cold (e.g. freezer) and hot (e.g. oven)

• Must be able to receive the delivered goods & organize the received goods by following the FIFO for the restaurant.
