AppleOne is hiring Delivery Drivers- Beamsville, ON!
Full Time- Contract until late June
Pay- $22-26/hr based on license class
Job Description:
•Will be driving a 26-foot straight truck, automatic
• Delivering product to customer locations
• Load the truck in the morning, and also unload at the customer site using the automatic tailgate
• Able to lift up to 50lbs
• Collecting PDO (proof of delivery) from customers
• Perform daily pre-trip inspections
• Safely and effectively operate the motorized vehicle and other equipment as necessary
• Interact with staff and customers in a positive and friendly manner
• Physically capable of moving/lifting plant materials as needed
Job Requirements:
• Must have a valid license (G, DZ, or AZ) and clear drivers’ abstract
• AZ & DZ Drivers must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience driving commercially
• G license drivers must provide a clean driver’s abstract and need 1-2 years’ experience driver a 26ft straight truck
• Must be flexible to be scheduled during their delivery times and comfortable driving long distances
• Must be able to load and offload racks of 50lbs at time of delivery
• Must have good communication skills
• Must have their own vehicle to get to work each day (not transit accessible)
