Trailer Technician - 4 on / 4 off shift cycle

XTL Transport has been a trusted employer for mechanics and technicians and drivers for 40 years. We're searching for an experienced trailer technician in our Airdrie location.

Schedule

4 on / 4 off shift cycle working 730am - 6pm. On call as required.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow and maintain all safety measures according to company policies and procedures.
• Carefully listen to Driver's feedback.
• Conduct inspections and diagnose issues.
• Repair mechanical and electrical system malfunctions.
• Replace part and components as required.
• Repair body damage.
• Inspect, diagnose and repair trailer electrical systems, landing gear assemblies and suspension / brakes.

Conduct routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repair work on the following :

Assist in conducting pre and post vehicle inspections of equipment.
