DetailsExternal Posting #24/25-222E - Journeyman Plumber/GasfitterBurns Lake Maintenance Shop8 hours per day, 5 days per weekContinuing position starting April 7, 2025 or as soon as possibleSummary Provides plumbing and maintenance services related to the repair, alteration and construction of District buildings, fixtures and equipment.Qualifications Completion of Grade 12 (Dogwood Certificate) Valid BC Trades Certification as a Plumber/GasfitterB.C. Driver's License – class 5 with an exemplary driving record as demonstrated by a current driver's abstract. Experience working with HVAC systems and DDC's Experience gained through Trades Qualification apprenticeship program inclusive of 1 year industry related experience WHMIS 2015 Certificate and familiarity with WorkSafeBC safety proceduresTo ApplyComplete/update your Make A Future portfolio. Be sure to include the contact information for at least 2 professional references (current/former supervisors)Upload a copy of your most recent Cover Letter and Resume, showcasing your relevant education and experience.Upload a copy of the applicable certificates/documents as indicated in the Qualifications section of this postingYou can obtain a copy of your driver's abstract (Personal Driving Record) online ()If you do not have a WHMIS 2015 certificate from the last 12 months, you can complete the course online ()Please note: Applications will only be accepted via Make A Future. CRCs through your local RCMP detachment or any other organization will not be accepted. This process is done online and can be a timely process.
