All our programs reflect the Ontario Ministry of Education’s Vision for FSL: Students in English-language school boards have the confidence and ability to use French effectively in their daily lives. ALCDSB is hiring Qualified/Certified French Teachers for contract positions and day-to-day occasional teaching on the Board’s Occasional Teacher Supply Roster. Qualifications: Qualified applicants are in good standing with the Ontario College of Teachers and must provide the following documents:Cover Letter with ResumeCertificate of Qualification from the Ontario College of TeachersTwo professional letters of reference (copies only)New or recent graduates - include Practicum Reports (copies only)University Transcripts (Undergraduate & B.Ed.)( (copies only) Oral and written English and French language proficiency are required Applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis, and interviews will be held periodically. Note that applications will not be considered without a Faith Reference Portfolio that is current within the last twelve (12) months. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate must provide a Police Record Check (PRC) with vulnerable sector check (VSC) current within six months of date of hire.
