Your New Role As an Electrical Project Manager (Large Projects), you will be responsible for leading major electrical construction projects across the GTA, including large-scale hospital,mercial, and institutional developments. You’ll take ownership of project delivery from pre-construction through tomissioning and handover, establishing clear project targets and milestones to ensure work ispleted on schedule and within budget. You will provide visible leadership in Health & Safety, quality assurance, and performance management while driving productivity and continuous improvement. Working closely with clients, general contractors, engineers, and internal stakeholders, you’ll proactively manage risk, monitor critical path activities, and oversee forecasting, cost control, and short-interval planning. You’ll also lead value engineering initiatives, cost-saving strategies, and pre-job planning efforts to optimize project oues. A key part of the role involves developing and supporting your project team through regular feedback, coaching, and training, while maintaining strong project controls across document management, change orders, material coordination, site meetings, and progress reporting.
What You’ll Need to Succeed Experience
- Minimum 7 years of construction project management experience
- Proven experience delivering large-scale electrical projects, ideally within hospital,mercial, or institutional sectors
- Trade background considered a strong asset
- Demonstrated ability to deliverplex projects on time and within budget
Technical Skills
- Post-secondary education in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline
- Strong knowledge of electrical construction practices, scheduling, and cost control
- Ability to analyze project schedules, labour productivity, and critical path activities
- Experience managing project controls, documentation, and change management processes
Soft Skills
- Confident leader with a proactive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Strongmunicator with the ability to build trust across multiple stakeholders
- Highly organized with excellent planning and decision-making skills
- Client-focused and collaborative, with amitment to project success
