This is an opportunity to join a well-established, privately held real estate owner-operator with a long-standing presence in the Montreal market. The organization manages a diversified portfolio of over 40 properties acrossmercial, industrial, and residential sectors.Your new role
Reporting directly to the owners, you will take full ownership of the accounting function across multiple real estate entities. This is a hands-on role where you will oversee the full-cycle accounting process while also supporting broader operational, financing, and development activities.
Responsibilities include managing day-to-day accounting (AR/AP, reconciliations, payroll, and tax filings), preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and coordinating year-end processes with external accountants. You will also be involved in cash management, banking relationships, and assisting with project and construction cost tracking.
Given the size of the team, this role requires someone who is adaptable andfortable stepping outside of traditional role boundaries to support various business needs when required.
