Your New RoleAs the Property Manager, you will be responsible for the full operational management of approximately 500 residential units across multiple buildings. Your day‑to‑day will be hands‑on, dynamic, and focused on ensuring smooth operations, strong tenant relationships, and efficient building performance. Your responsibilities will include:
- Tenant relations: respond to inquiries, manageplaints, issue notices, and maintain strongmunication with residents.
- Maintenance coordination: work closely with concierges, maintenance staff, and subcontractors; organize repairs, request quotes, issue POs, and ensure timelypletion of work.
- Inspections: conduct weekly building inspections, vacant unit checks, and move‑in / move‑out inspections.
- Leasing & turnovers: manage lease renewals, coordinate move‑ins/move‑outs, and oversee unit turnover readiness.
- Financial oversight: assist with annual budgets, track monthly financials, and follow up on rent collection.
- Team supervision: support hiring, evaluations, scheduling, and HR tasks for the maintenance team.
- Administration: maintain accurate records, update building systems (intes, parcel systems), and prepare notices and reports.
- Collaboration: participate in weekly operations meetings and support capital project activities.
What You Will BringYou have 3+ years of residential property management experience, strong knowledge of Quebec housing regulations, excellentmunication and organizational skills, the ability to problem-solve and work independently, proficiency in Yardi, Hopem, or similar software, strong customer‑service skills, and fluency in English and French. A degree in Business, Real Estate, or a related field is an asset.
