DZ Ready Mix Driver

Tomlinson is Eastern Canada’s leader in environmental, construction and transportation infrastructure services. Tomlinson Ready Mix is currently seeking licensed drivers for our Kingston location. The successful individuals will ensure that loads are delivered in a safe and timely manner.

Vacancy Type: Replacement

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Maintain and inspect truck to ensure safe use, checking fluid levels and air pressure.

• Inspect and maintain concrete loads, ensuring mixer is operating correctly and cleaned afterwards.

• Deliver concrete according to schedule and communicate with dispatch.

• Clear and effective communication to ensure clients needs are met.

REQUIREMENTS

• Valid AZ or DZ Driver’s License

• Flexible work schedule with a variation of a scheduled start times

• Willing to train successful applicant (Paid training program is 3 to 4 weeks with 1:1 sessions with a driver trainer).

• Clean drivers abstract

• Must have the ability to work flexible hours (including some Saturdays and evenings)

COMPENSATION INFORMATION

The expected salary range for this position is $29 - $31 per hour. Placement within the range is dependent on a variety of factors including qualifications and experience
