General Description We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented R&D Lab Support Co-op to join our dynamic R&D team.
This role involves assisting with various lab tasks, including Hardware and Software testing, re-work, device programming, system level testing, site visits, and more.
The ideal candidate will have a background in both software and hardware, with a preference for those seeking a degree in Electrical Engineering.
Key Responsibilities Testing and Analysis: Assist in the testing of new products and prototypes, conducting performance and reliability tests, and analyzing results.
- Lab Maintenance: Maintain and organize lab equipment, ensuring all tools and materials are in good working condition.
- Site Visits: Participate in site visits to gather data, install equipment, and provide on-site support as needed.
- Documentation: Assist in the creation and maintenance of technical documentation, including test reports, user manuals, and design specifications.
- Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other team members to support various R&D projects and initiatives.
Qualifications Education: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical Engineering.
Experience: Experience in PCB design and re-work is preferred.
Experience with python scripting and execution.
Familiarity with testing procedures and Lab equipment.
Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Proficiency in relevant software tools and programming languages.
Additional Requirements: Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
Willingness to travel for site visits as needed.
