Job DescriptionAs a successful outside sales rep, imagine what you could do with an untapped territory, and a well-known line of products that can be found throughout Canada, the US, and Europe. We’re Cartier Chemicals Ltd. () , and here, you can have both. We’ve been in the business of producing degreasers, solvents, and industrial cleaning and spill response supplies for over 70 years. We’re proud to represent some of the top brands in the industrial maintenance and safety markets. If you have what it takes to sell our brand and our products into new markets, and make quality contacts that will keep our business growing, then we want to hear from you. Outside Sales Your goal in this position is to learn our business and our products inside out, and then sell as widely as possible. You’re highly self-motivated, driven to succeed, and eager to be on the road every single day closing deals. Whether it means knocking on doors, doing demos, or making cold-calls, you use your intuition and resourcefulness to make bold pitches to a wide range of industrial clients. And, we’ll give you full administrative support so you can focus on what you’re great at. This is a full-time, permanent position, selling in the Central Montreal Area, and based from your home office. We offer an attractive compensation package, with salary, commission and expenses, commensurate with experience and no ceiling on your earning potential. Qualifications * Significant experience in an outside sales role * Experience in a technical sales role * Proven experience building a successful sales strategy and exceeding growth goals * Experience in the chemical industry or with chemical products would be considered an asset * Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/PowerPoint) * Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle * High school diploma or equivalent * Experience selling within the industrial sector How to Apply Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
