Job Summary

Facilitates release processes, coordination, and execution of high-complexity Credit Card initiatives. Works with various stakeholders across the enterprise to coordinate delivery of features, create the end-to-end delivery roadmap, and deliver on commitments. Escalates impediments, manages risk, helps ensure value delivery, and helps drive relentless improvement. A subject matter expert leading, coordinating, and delivering, the Release Train Engineer may also be accountable for overseeing, coaching, and training a small group of professionals assigned to Agile teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and optimize the flow of value through ARTs using various tools such as Kanban and other information
- Establish and communicate the Program Increments (PIs) apart from your ART and facilitate PI Readiness, System Demos, PI Planning, and Pre- and Post-PI Planning meetings
- Co-ordinate the features to be deployed on the Agile Release Train being conducted by taking into consideration dependencies, order, and architecture

- Internal and external stakeholder interaction

Required Experience
- 10 years of overall experience
Must-Have Hard Skills
- 10 years of experience delivering high-complex Credit Card features in Agile, in cross-functional teams
- 5 years of experience with direct experience with data conversions, credit card preferred
- 5 years presenting status, risks, issues, mitigations and feature financials to senior leadership
- Strong financial management skills
Soft Skills
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong risk mitigation and management
- Ability to tell a story succinctly to business and technical (different levels of stakeholders)
- Leading through ambiguity, creative problem solving and critical thinking
Preferred Skills
- Certified SAFE Release Train Engineer (RTE) or SAFE Program Consultant (SPC), or Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMP or Agile Certifications
- Prior experience with banking, financial institution or organizations who offer credit cards
Education Requirements
- Post secondary education is an asset; work experience is more important
- PMP or Agile certifications are an asset

- KPI's and SLA's (revenue and savings targets)
- How you navigate through stressful situations with confidence
