Hi! My name is Amy and I live in Chilliwack, British Columbia. I am looking for a part-time, live out nanny to help care for my 7 year old autistic son. The ideal candidate should have lots of energy and be fast, as my son is very curious and quick to get into things. He is sensory seeking, and likes lots of movement and is constantly fidgeting. We are looking to fill a few positions, someone to support him during after school care, weekend respite, as well as over school breaks. If you are interested in even one of these positions that would be helpful! We are looking for someone who is experienced and confident in providing care for neurodiverse children. The right person must be reliable, patient, kind and respectful. My son is non-verbal (no words) and uses an iPad to communicate, some sign language, but understands verbal language. He is a super sweet kid, with lots of unique quirks and plenty of charisma. Open to discuss hourly wage.
