Pilot Instructor - Topflight Penticton BC

We are currently looking for a pilot instructor to perform advanced mountain training aircraft type and emergency training vertical reference / water bucket training basic and advanced NVG training and night rating.

Here are the detailed responsibilities of the role :

• Provide highquality flight instruction to military and civilian students ensuring safety proficiency and adherence to Transport Canada / FAA regulations.
• Conduct both ground and inflight training sessions for students at various experience levels.
• Create and execute customized lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and progress.
• Monitor and assess student performance providing constructive feedback and guidance for improvement.
• Ensure proper maintenance of aircraft by conducting pre and postflight inspections and reporting any issues.
• Maintain accurate and thorough student records including flight logs and performance evaluations.
• Stay updated on industry best practices aviation standards and changes in regulations.
• Foster a professional and encouraging learning environment that promotes safety and confidence.
• Conduct check rides practical exams and assist students in preparing for certification or course completion.
• Coordinate with flight school staff to schedule lessons aircraft and other resources efficiently.
