Job Summary
As a Health Care Aide at Qualicare, you will be an essential member of our home care team. Under the supervision of the Care Coordinator, you will provide various personal care services to meet the needs of our clients.


Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care and hygiene
  
  
• Meal preparation and feeding
  
  
• Light housekeeping duties
  
  
• Accompany clients on outings
  
  
• Medication assistance, administration, and reminders
  
  
• Help with ambulation clients
  
  
• Provide companionship and emotional support
  
  
• Follow care plans provided
  
  
• Document and chart client progress
  
  

Qualifications

• Health Care Aide certification or equivalent (e.g., foreign-trained nurse, nursing student)
  
  
• Current CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
  
  
• Negative TB skin test or chest x-ray
  
  
• Ability to travel within the designated location area of Sherwood Park and Fort Saskatchewan
  
  
• Access to a mobile phone and internet
