Job Summary
This role has been created to support existing marketing tagging requests, and as such, it is an existing position within the organization. The team comprises approximately 30 members. The successful candidate will interact with stakeholders for about half of their working time. Performance in this role will be assessed based on the quality and timely delivery of work, ongoing feedback, meetings with business and marketing stakeholder, and the completion of specific deliverables.
Key Responsibilities
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications for custom digital analytics implementation, utilizing data layers, processing rules, SAINT classification, report suite configurations, custom JavaScript, JSON, and integrating with other systems.
- Collaborate with digital marketing stakeholders to define KPIs, tagging requirements, and the overall measurement strategy for the digital marketing group.
- Manage daily operations and implementation of the marketing analytics stack, which may include tools such as Google Analytics, Salesforce, Adobe Target, Medallia DXA, Rakuten, Facebook, and others.
- Develop and maintain implementation documents, such as Solution Design Reference (SDR) files, Data Layer specifications, and custom JavaScript.
- Ensure the timely delivery and accuracy of documentation and technical coding including HTML, JavaScript, and ActionScript through the Tag Management System and Adobe Launch/Google Tag Manager/Ensighten.
- Work with technology teams to implement analytics solutions, providing guidance on data layer implementation, troubleshooting, data feeds, and system integrations.
- Stay up to date with product updates (for example, Google Analytics, Meta, Salesforce and Adobe), following best practices, and proactively implementing required changes and communicating them appropriately.
- Provide consultative services, training, and validation support to quality assurance and testing teams.
Required Skills
- 2 years of experience with JavaScript
- 2 years of experience in web analytics implementation
- Experience with analytics tagging implementation, including Google Analytics, marketing tagging, and Adobe Analytics
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong time-management skills and ability to work on multiple projects at once
- Ability to own and work independently on assigned deliverables, but also collaborate with multiple team members and stakeholders when necessary
Preferred Skills
- Expertise with tag management tools (DTM, Adobe Launch, Tealium, Ensighten) and their configuration
- Understanding of Adobe Analytics processing rules, SAINT classifications, report suite configuration, and data feeds
- Prior Banking or FI experience
Education Requirements
- Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics certifications are an asset
- Computer Science degree is an asset

- Banking industry experience preferred
