Family Practitioners - Cowichan Primary Care Network (200-1577) (Permanent Family Practice)

The Cowichan Valley is seeking Family Practitioners to work with a team of practitioners and other health providers to collectively deliver care to patients in the Cowichan area. This position will provide regular primary care with a focus on Long Term Care.

In this position the Family Practitioner will participate as a member of an inter-professional team that will include Nurse Practitioners, other FPs, medical office assistants, registered nurses, and, social workers.

The Family Practitioner can participate in an after-hours call group, sharing after-hours coverage with other practitioners.

Benefits

May be eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidy agreement including:

• Retention Premium = 4.2%
• Retention Flat Fee = $6,.80
• Recruitment Incentive = $10, (pro-rated for part-time)
• Relocation = up to a maximum of $15,
• CME:
  
  - Years 3 & 4: $2,/annum
  
  - After 4 years: $4,/annum
