Our client, a major national financial Crown corporation, is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to join their Business Services team. In this role, you will act as a pivotal bridge between business stakeholders, technical developers, and vendor partners. You will lead business analysis efforts for enterprise financial platforms, insurance reporting systems, and corporate accounting modules, translating complex operational needs into clear Agile artifacts in Azure DevOps and guiding solutions through UAT execution.

Responsibilities- User Stories & Requirements in ADO: Elicit, define, and document clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria in Azure DevOps (ADO) to guide engineering teams.
- Domain Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial systems, insurance data inconsistencies, and corporate accounting workflows to optimize transaction accuracy and reporting.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner daily with Product Owners, developers, IT architects, and testers to align team OKRs, perform root-cause analysis (RCA), and triage problem tickets/bugs.
- UAT & Functional Troubleshooting: Support business users through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) execution, functional troubleshooting, defect resolution, and pre-launch validation.
- System Upgrades & Vendor Alignment: Coordinate upgrade testing activities, present issues to software vendors, and support deployment approvals.
Qualifications- Financial & Insurance Domain Depth: Proven hands-on business analysis experience working with financial systems, insurance reporting, corporate accounting, or loan underwriting/management applications.
- Azure DevOps User Stories: recent years of dedicated experience authoring high-quality, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria inside Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Agile Leadership: recent years applying Agile methodologies while collaborating across multidisciplinary product teams.
- UAT & Functional Testing: Demonstrated track record supporting business stakeholders through UAT execution, functional troubleshooting, and deployment sign-offs.
- Asset Qualifications: Practical experience or familiarity with Power BI for financial or insurance reporting analytics.
- Ability to create screen mockups and visual artifacts using tools such as Miro or Mural.
- Specific background supporting commercial insurance platforms, credit underwriting, or investment management software.
