Job description
We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with financial systems implementation experience for a remote banking client. This role focuses on production readiness, go-live support, and operational transition for a complex financial system. You will work with business, QA, and technical teams to support UAT and integration testing, define and validate business processes, and ensure operational readiness ahead of deployment. Key responsibilities include coordinating readiness activities, resolving defects and process gaps, and developing SOPs, runbooks, and training materials to support transition to production. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years of experience in similar roles, strong stakeholder management and documentation skills, and experience supporting enterprise financial system implementations.

Responsibilities
•Support production readiness, go-live planning, and operational transition for a financial system
•Support UAT, integration, and end-to-end testing with business and QA teams
•Define and validate business processes, workflows, and requirements
•Identify and resolve defects, gaps, and operational risks
•Develop SOPs, runbooks, user guides, and training materials
•Coordinate stakeholders across business, QA, technical, and support teams
•Support knowledge transfer and early-life production stabilization

Qualifications
•University degree or college diploma in computer science or a related field
•5+ years of experience in production readiness, go-live planning, and operational transition for technology solutions (ideally financial systems)
•3+ years of experience supporting testing cycles (UAT, integration testing, end-to-end testing)
•Experience developing SOPs, user guides, process documentation, and training materials
•Strong communication and facilitation skills with ability to engage business and technical stakeholders
•Proven experience coordinating across multiple teams (business, QA, technical, and operations)
•Experience working in enterprise financial systems environments
•CBAP, CCBA, or related Business Analysis certification considered an asset
