Pay Rate: C$40 – 70/hr

Job Summary:
This position will contribute to the client’s implementation and integration of the next generation SCADA system. The Network Support Analyst will play a key role in designing, implementing, and operating enterprise-grade data center and operational technology network environments.

The role requires deep technical expertise in data center network systems, firewall implementation, troubleshooting, and enterprise network architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Contribute to implementation and integration of next-generation SCADA systems
Develop technical specifications (cable schedules, topologies, service diagrams, device configurations)
Create implementation guides and Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
Develop operational processes and procedures
Produce regulatory compliance artifacts
Support system integration and commissioning activities
Provide ongoing system support
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues
Implement and operate enterprise data center networks and firewalls

Required Experience:

Demonstrated experience implementing and operating enterprise data center networks
Demonstrated experience implementing and operating firewalls
Strong experience with network troubleshooting and problem resolution
Expert knowledge of data center network systems and technologies
CCNP or equivalent certification
CCDP or equivalent certification
Bachelor’s Degree

Nice-to-Have Experience:

Extensive experience maintaining and operating Operational Technology (OT) systems
Experience with diverse vendors (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet, Arista, others)
Experience with infrastructure management platforms (SolarWinds, Nagios, Splunk, etc.)
Experience with automation technologies (Python, Ansible, PowerShell, etc.)
Experience implementing adjacent infrastructure technologies (servers, storage, databases, virtualization, etc.)
Certifications across other infrastructure pillars (Server, Storage, Database, Virtualization, Windows, Linux)

Required Skills:

Enterprise Data Center Networking
Firewall Implementation & Management
Advanced Network Troubleshooting

Preferred Skills:

SCADA / Operational Technology Networking
Automation (Python, Ansible, PowerShell)
Multi-Vendor Network Environments
Infrastructure Monitoring Platforms

Additional Skills:

Technical specification development
Regulatory compliance documentation
System commissioning and integration
Operational process development
Cross-technology infrastructure knowledge
